Malaysia and the Maldives consider strengthening cooperation in the medical and economic fields.
The Malaysian High Commissioner to the Maldives met with the Maldives Health Minister to discuss medical training and expanding health insurance scheme coverage. The Commissioner said the meeting was an important step in strengthening cooperation in health care.
Commissioners also held discussions on agricultural best practices, with a focus on coconut cultivation. These cooperation are expected to promote the development of both parties in key areas such as trade and investment.
