Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd will build a data center for an American multinational technology company in Selangor, with a contract value of RM747.8 million. Construction is scheduled to begin on May 15 and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2027.
Although it faces risks such as material price fluctuations, Sunway Construction can effectively cope with it with its rich experience and expertise. The company said the works will not have a significant direct impact on financial metrics for the fiscal year ending 2024, but it is expected to make a positive contribution to earnings.
