Malaysia ranks among top microchip exporters

Malaysia’s exports of microchips to the United States have reached 26%, making it one of the major exporters of microchips.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said Malaysia was the first choice for many countries seeking microchips. He emphasized cooperation with the United States and praised BlackBerry’s efforts to improve cyber defense capabilities.

In addition, Malaysia is also promoting 5G and Internet coverage, as well as strengthening digital transformation and cybersecurity infrastructure.

BlackBerry announced the establishment of a world-class cybersecurity training center in Malaysia to provide a wide range of courses and certifications to promote the training and development of cybersecurity talents.
