The Malaysian construction industry launched 9,144 projects in the first nine months

Nov 16 – Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi said the Malaysian construction industry has achieved significant growth this year, with an impressive 9,144 projects having been launched as of September profound.

Of this, a huge investment of RM63 billion is earmarked for private schemes and RM84 billion for government projects.

Nanta said some 91% of the projects were managed by local contractors, a testament to their expertise in shaping Malaysia’s infrastructure landscape.
