Johor’s eight career carnivals this year will provide tens of thousands of job opportunities

The Johor state government has successfully hosted 8 career carnivals this year, attracting 117 companies to provide 11,587 job opportunities. Executive Councilor Mohd Haili revealed that 772 job seekers were directly admitted, 10,916 were given interview opportunities, and 3,659 were given a second interview opportunity.

The Larkin Station Career Carnival in July this year attracted 7,976 visitors. Participating companies included MARii, Pos Malaysia, MMHE, KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital, etc. 70% of the job opportunities were related to technical and vocational education and training.

In addition, the Johor state government also successfully held 16 PRO-MAHIR skills training programs, covering oil and gas, aerospace, information technology, green energy and other fields, with a total of 520 people participating.
