Malaysian Investment Promotion Center to start operations on December 1

The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) announced that the Malaysian Investment Promotion Center (IMFC) will start operations on December 1 and will be located at the Mida headquarters. It aims to simplify federal and state government affairs and promote convenient communication between investors and the business community.

IMFC will speed up various approval processes, provide consulting services and reduce bureaucracy. The Minister of Investment and Trade said the IMFC aims to achieve the goals of the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 and strives to make Malaysia an investor-friendly and business-friendly destination.

Mida CEO pointed out that through IMFC, Malaysia will strengthen its relationship with foreign and local investors and promote the growth of manufacturing and service industries. IMFC will serve as a gateway for investors and businesses to access government support and special facilities.
