The two-day JHM 2023 programme in Perak, Malaysia aims to be a strategic platform for entrepreneurs and operators in the halal industry to expand their business.
The program is organized by the Halal Development Corporation (HDC) in collaboration with the state government and economic planning units. Perak Menteri Besar said the rapid growth of the halal industry is in line with the government’s commitment to making it a key resource for economic growth. He mentioned that there are about 10,000 companies in the country that are halal certified, and more than 800 of them operate in Perak. JHM 2023 aims to provide awareness, exposure, and knowledge about the halal ecosystem and market opportunities.
The HDC President said that the program will promote the development of the halal economy, increase participants’ understanding of the halal ecosystem, and share experiences, knowledge and success stories.
