Citaglobal Bhd has signed a co-development agreement with partner TIZA Global Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Masdar to jointly invest US$2 billion to build a 2GW solar farm in Pahang, Malaysia.
Citaglobal and TIZA will hold 40 %的股权，Masdar持有60%. The project is supported by the Pahang state government and is scheduled to be completed in phases over five years. This is part of Masdar’s commitment to 10GW of clean energy projects in Malaysia with a total investment of US$8 billion.
Citaglobal said the agreement was signed during the United Nations Conference of the Parties to Climate Change (COP 28) and was witnessed by the President of the UAE and the head of the Sudan of Malaysia.
