GoAuto, Careplus joint venture to build electric vehicle factory

NexV Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between GoAuto Group and Careplus Group, will build a new energy vehicle manufacturing and assembly plant in the Chembong Industrial Zone in Rembong, Malaysia, which is expected to be completed in 2028.

The factory covers an area of 29.68 hectares and will assemble electric vehicle brand NETA and also provide assembly of CKD vehicles for other electric vehicle brands. With a total development value of approximately RM600 million, construction is expected to begin in 2024 and the first product, the NETA V model, will be launched in 2025. The cooperation aims to promote the development of the electric vehicle industry, create job opportunities, establish a business network for the electric vehicle ecosystem, and respond to the government’s carbon reduction goals. ​ 发送反馈 侧边栏 历史记录 已保存 提供建议

Careplus Mall will serve as a sales and service center for NETA electric vehicles, providing electric vehicle fast charging stations and solar panel equipment.
