India imported 217,847 mt of palm oil from Malaysia in November, with total vegetable oil imports up 13%. Imports included 195,505 tonnes of crude palm oil (CPO), 16,343 tonnes of RBD palm olein and 5,999 tonnes of crude palm kernel oil (CPKO).
India’s total vegetable oil imports were 1.16 million tonnes, with palm oil accounting for 76%. Data released by the Solvent Extraction Association showed that RBD palm olein imports were 171,069 mt in November, up sharply from 53,497 mt in October.
