Maybank promotes cross-border remittances

Maybank launched the “DuitNow Overseas Transfer” service, allowing Malaysian customers to send money to contacts in Singapore through registered mobile phone numbers. This service supports instant transactions of up to RM3,000 per day. Those exceeding this limit can use “Maybank Overseas Transfer”.

Customers in Singapore can also enjoy seamless transactions through “PayNow Overseas Transfers”. The service is part of Maybank Beyond Borders initiative to provide comprehensive digital cross-border services.

“Maybank Overseas Transfers” from Singapore to Malaysia will be free during the free period, while charges of S$2.00 will be charged to other banks.
