Petronas signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Thailand’s PTT Exploration & Production Company

Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Petronas, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and two Technical Assistance Agreements (TAAs) with PTT Exploration & Production Company (PTTEP) of Thailand.

The agreement covers the SK405B and SK410B blocks operated by PTTEP, including the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) facility and the Bintulu crude oil terminal operated by Petronas Carigali. The TAAs cover the study and design work of the SK405B block, as well as assisting with the potential construction and engineering design of the SK410B block. The representatives of both sides were Anuar Ismail and Kanok Intharawijitr.

The collaboration aims to optimize costs and operational excellence to ensure the security of energy supply in the Sarawak region. PTTEP looks forward to driving the long-term development of Malaysia’s energy industry under the management of Petronas.
