Jingye intends to enter the 5G telecom tower business

Companies in the renewable energy sector plan to enter the 5G market and provide infrastructure services to 5G operators.

Jingye holds a network facility provider license and plans to build 5G telecom towers in Malaysia and lease them to mobile network operators to generate recurring revenue. Executive Deputy Chairman Datuk Lai Keng An said that the 5G tower needs to be denser, so the company decided to participate in this critical infrastructure in line with the government’s 5G plan.

Jingye also focuses on renewable energy, acquiring biogas power generation companies and partnering with bio and renewable energy to power the company. At the same time, the company has ventured into the rooftop solar business of the University of Malaysia, energy development in backward areas of Indonesia, and solar engineering projects in Thailand through the acquisition of other companies.
