USM cultivates renewable energy talents

Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and JinkoSolar Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on talent training in the field of renewable energy, emphasizing that renewable energy should be prioritized to mitigate climate change. The cooperation aims to cultivate highly skilled talents that meet industry needs by providing USM students with practical training, scholarships and financial support.

The USM vice-chancellor said the collaboration will enhance students’ practical understanding of the renewable energy industry and is in line with the university’s mission to lead sustainable development.

The deputy general manager of JinkoSolar said that this cooperation will have a positive impact on research in the renewable energy industry and hopes to cultivate professional talents and enhance the level of capabilities in this field to support national higher education and industrial development.
