Government to promote Malaysian products in international market

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Rural and Regional Development Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the government is organizing an organized promotion of local products, especially those produced by young entrepreneurs, to gain more opportunities in the international market.

He stressed that the government will work with young entrepreneurs through the international network of KUSKOP (Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives) and MARA (People’s Assembly), which will select potential products produced by 500,000 registered entrepreneurs and provide assistance in financing and international market development Providing support, the government’s support will help these products to be successfully launched in the international market in partnership with NGOs such as the Malaysian Franchise Association.
