Shell Malaysia Trading Bhd plans to build an electric vehicle charging center containing 10 charging stations at Resorts World Genting, which is expected to be completed early next year.
Powered by Shell Recharge, the center will be its first ultra-fast 360kW high-performance charging centre. In partnership with Porsche Malaysia and Genting Malaysia Bhd, the center will become a new member of the Shell Recharge electric vehicle network, increasing the total number of charging stations to 146.
The charging center is equipped with 10 charging stations, including 4 360kW HPC charging stations and 6 22kW AC charging stations, to meet the charging needs of electric vehicle drivers at Resorts World Genting.
This is part of Shell Malaysia’s expansion into electric mobility, with the company saying it will continue to expand electric vehicle charging stations across Peninsular Malaysia.
