Formula E CEO Jeff Dodd said that the 2025 Formula E championship final will bring approximately RM157.5 million in benefits to the Malaysian economy and create more than 10,000 jobs.

He pointed out that this event will contribute RM6.73 billion in the next 10 years and bring other knock-on effects. Dodd emphasized that the championship will promote Malaysia’s investment in sustainable infrastructure and promote the development of innovation and green energy technologies.

Kuala Lumpur was chosen as the venue for the finals because of Prime Minister Anwar’s leadership in the electric vehicle sector and the government’s support for sustainable development, as well as Kuala Lumpur’s logistical advantages and infrastructure that meets the requirements of the event.
