Datuk Arthur Kulu, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security of Malaysia, said that through the introduction of modern agricultural technology, such as smart farming and drones, young people are encouraged to participate in the agricultural field and reduce reliance on foreign labor.

The government offers a number of measures and assistance programs to attract young people, including the provision of diploma courses, incentives and grants for young agricultural entrepreneurs.

The government has also launched agricultural product marketing platforms and financing facilitation measures to support local agricultural development and increase farmers’ income and productivity.
